I believe it's perfectly legit to post here even as an unofficial group.
=BSG= had it's own recruitment after the breakdown, even though it was unofficial.
No one made a fuzz about it.
In a same way you can have an unofficial message dump in the RP section, just not in the "Message dumps" section, as it's reserved for official factions.

Also, no one complained when The Eagles made their 'unofficial' thread?

What -is- against moral principles is to post here with intention to become official in the near future, and use this as a feedback for your 'future proposal'.
Now that isn't nice, as I'v seen other factions denied even though they payed 500 mil.
