"We aren't a threat to humanity in the sense that the Nomads are, we're a threat to the existing political structures."
thats what i d like to see ingame more. - i have seen more propaganda from the gaians than i have seen from the coalition:laugh:. - if the coalition is a mirrorimage of the soviet nation in the cold war era... even blunt methods might be used - such as military parades to impress and intimidate. - sometimes blunt methods ... but also subtle propaganda.
i would like to see some "movement" .. some active convincing of others. - if you don t attack civilians, which is a good addition to the ID - i would use that feature - that makes you somewhat more civilized than even the blood dragons that have similar ( but rather small scale ) goals to strike against an unjust ( from their pov ) goverment - but they target civilians, too.
if you don t .. you can make it a point, i think an intermediete goal should be independence in a system like the mollys - and once that goal is achieved, the long term goal can be to slowly but steadily overwhelm the rest of sirius - but as a player, i d like to see things being steered into that direction. that doesn t mean you gotto fly through sirius while preaching kommunism - but it should offer a different level to encounters. - some are clearly hostile and resolved in combat ... but others might be solved by convincing others ( hence maybe recruiting )
the way such a faction survives is by getting more members ( in a RP sense ... and slightly in a gamebalance sense ) - while the faction certainly stays small, i d expect it to pull more and more people to their side that - maybe quietly symphazise with your cause ) - a bit like the order is supposed to be... a small inner core that is "the order" and a large number of people that agree with them and support them.... but not officially.
of course its hard to RP that in the game - but thats how i see the progress of the faction.
