Of course if I play a pirate, which rarely happens, I demand a fair ammount of cash, but if I meet
someone willing to rp well - then (in particular when it's a low level char) I still just demand 1 credit
as a kind of reward for good rp.
To me fairplay and having fun (and of course also to let other have)
is worth a lot more then any cash of Sirius.
What you are forgetting is that some faction's RP are not as simple as pirating for money. Some factions have more than enough money, but they pirate for other means. To those factions, it is VERY OoRP to demand low amounts of cash to certain people (And I don't just mean Synth Foods). At some points, it makes far more sense to have people drop their entire cargo or pay an immense amount of money for the pirate to pretend they aren't there.
You're right, fairplay is far more important than imaginary money. I can always make more imaginary money, but playing the character the way it should be played is only fair to the other party involved.
