Actually, there are such things as protected traders, such as JG transports and Celestial_Shipping. Pretty much anyone that isn't one of the aforementioned, carrying food or artifacts, or has zoner ID/Tag(The tag is the more important part in this combo as its harder to get), pirate 'em.
