A few (may or may not be) problems...

G'day Guys,
Just downloaded 4.80 (first time playing discovery), and there were a few things I didn't quite get. Im not sure if they're problems or not but you be the judge and let me know.

#1 With the commodities, I get a whole lot of IDS? comms with a dollar icon, and some are priced at like...9,999,999, and yet there is no description as to just what in the heck it is! Problem or not?

#2 Is there any way at all to disable NPC's using shield batteries/nano bots? It took me like...an hour and a bit just to do the first mission. I end up screaming "JUST DIE!!!!" to the computer all the time, as it takes forever! Any way to do that?
