Weird, if they are used to make ships more expensive then I may be very wrong about the ability to make them interchangeable...

Infact you actually *could* now that I think of it, simply use the light (what you see) as the display for something you throw on a hardpoint.

Only problem I see with it, is it is alot of work to make those kind of items for a simple "customization"

Also you have to remember when we pay the admins to edit our ships names or whatnot, that money is going into *poof* land, they don't keep it for themselves.
