Kristys New Villa

[Behemoth]

Far away from New Villa, everything is calm.
Despite the hot weather, workers do the usual harvesting from the fields. Their sons prepare the ships in two of the warehouses used for repairs. Fix weapons, align the HUDs, fix some glitch in a damaged board computer - the usual task for an outcast preparing for a long journey.

There are two droids in the back of one of the warehouses fixing ship hulls and loading nanobots into place.

New cargo to take, and a long story to tell.
Everyone is active in the middle of the calm nowhere. Some of them prepare some documents to deliver their fellow wingmen, somewhere out there in the borderworld frontiers.
There are always new house military movement, new bounties to be aware, new deals to take care.

(*usual conversation in one of the repair warehouses...*)

- I could use a hand here, if you dont mind.
Hey, ask Joe if he finished the navmap update.
I need to take off in four hours and can't wait any longer.

- Don't worry about it.
He mounted it in the ship today.

- And I thought that I had to mount it myself again.
Doesn't seem like him.

- Probably it's got to do with the new Villa.
Heard of it?

- Oh, yeah.
Kristys doin nice over there.
I think he's needing it more than I do anyways.

(*meanwhile, in Kristys New Villa...*)

- Hey Joe, going for a swim?

- Hi Browning.

Nicest place I've been. Ever.

- Yeah! Nothing makes me better than having this paradise sky.

- It must have been really expensive to set up those weather sattelites.
I wonder if they are those stolen Ws-WT4002 I saw on GNN. *laughs*

- Oh! Whatever.
As long as Gezza is not arround licking stuff... every thing's perfect here.
I think I'm going to have a ride on that yacht over there.

- Nice. Hold on for me.
I'm just going to make couple rounds in this warm pool here, then I'll catch up.

*Joe looks at a misterious cazy mean looking shaved hair with wacko universe-dominator eyes man walking to the pool. He sits on a chair.*

Well. I think I'm going now.

- Cool.
Hey Alexander, wanna join us in a yacht trip?

- No.

*Joe feels relieved...*

I am waiting for a sniper with the head of the deceased bounty hunter.
I'm going to use the hole in it to mount it on the front of my ship.

*Joe starts accelerating the steps*

Hey Browning. Aren't you going to introduce me to your new friend?

- Ah! Almost forgot.
This is Joe "Mitharis" Tach. He's one of the best "brains" behind engineering stuff we have in our brotherhood.
He might be more than a helping hand in space. His skils can save your life.

- Pleased to meet you Joe.

- Me too.

- Looking forward to have a chat sometime.
I have many plans for an engineer like you.

- Right. You two can talk whatever you want.
But spare me of the details. I'm going to have my sun tan now.

*Alexander stays still, with a buldog madman face.
Then he starts that crazy maniac laughing and everyone tries to give a laugh too.*

The Air was sweet that evening on Malta, the ocean was washing onto the shores, and the Sun was setting to the west. Kristy was standing on the balcony over looking the vast ocean in her back yard.

She could shake the fealing that something was goin on, but with her ship in need of repairs, and not willing to trust any others she was grounded. Sipping her wine she continuely looked up to the Sky, the occasional fighter or smuggler leaving for Orbit where all she saw.

" Lady Pryde, is there anything else I can get for you? " and man in a elderly man in a black suit asked from the door way. " No Ian, Im fine, but thankyou anyways." She smiled and turned back.

" Ohh, the crews down in the hanger say they'll have your ship ready in a few days. " he finished

As soon as the door was closed there was a cold wind. she knew that fealing, she couldn't see them, but she new they where there." What have you found out whats going on out there Mestalious? No words came only a chorus of strange sounds...

And soon there was nothing, all was quiet again. She sipped her wine again and looked to the sky. " Thank you old freind.", there was no reply.

" C'Tan and Miralukan's fighting in the same system, what the hecks going on......"

Suddently, gloomy shadows rise on the top of the far mountains.
A giantic dark clowded form swalows the entire horizon.
The wind swirls like the last breath of a dying tree while the air freezes still.

The sky... the sky changes colours. The weather is changed.
An electrostatic storm engulfs the perception of everything.
A profound sound reverbs in a deep holow, shaking the deepest of the living souls.
The darkness is bigger and bigger... and bigger.
A strange metalic noise shatter the glasses. The windows. The doors. Shakes the vast ocean like a vibrating glass of water.

Everything stops. The noise stops. The sound of vacum. Light. Brightness.
We can start to see now. The colours of the sky return to the programed in the weather satelite.

Midst. Dark midst, like New London smog, heavy on the lungs.

A loud grave voice appears:

"This is Black Squadron Osiris BEHEMOTH Battleship commander speaking."

"We have been fighting the Nomads and are not hostile to Outcasts."

"I am requesting the support of Outcasts to assist me in repairs."

"The main bridge is damanged and collapsed when we were doing atmosphere docking maneuvers."

"The ship will break in two, soon. It will create two monstruous wrecks falling in flames through the skies if you dont help."

"We have been fighting the Nomads and are not hostile."

"We had severe casualties among the Engineer Corps, medical support, Gunnery crew and Officials."

"Requesting immediate assistance."
