Role-Play History:
We left what people call civilization to escape our past and our enemies, like the rest of those out here in these remote and unregulated systems. Some of us had lives engulfed in fighting before, while others were simple people sick of their life or rich people looking for adventure far from the influence of the four Houses. We live and "work" like other Zoners, but concern ourselves mainly and politically about Houses expanding deeply into independent worlds.

We protect and avenge our fallen people if pirates breaks our agreements: we have no intentions to pay taxes unless we ship goods through their home systems. Some of us are charismatic traders and bargain is our specialty, if someone comes to buy "delicate" equipment we will treat the deal with care. Yes, we deal with gadgetry but what we sell is much more valuable than anything other parties like the Junkers have to offer. However, we only sign deals on Freeports, only in these stations and space are the Zoners truly safe.

You could ask for loan, but we expect to have it back later, if not (or in the case the character have been deleted) we would surely go to one of your friends to find you. We do not tolerate those who breaks our agreements or robs our members without proper intentions and explanations. If this happens, we send out an investigator of ours to find witnesses, and to contact the faction the committer of the crime belonged to. If we fail on the way of diplomacy, we would send out one of our judicators of the Excubiae Caliginis along with some escorts and mercenaries. Money is a thing we dislike, but we still need it to ensure our influence out there. Sometimes we even act as negotiators, but only out of House interests, so most likely between corporations like Kruger Minerals, the Gas Miners Guild, or the Independent Miners Guild. We have no allies, but our specialities are, that we agree the right of the Junkers to control Yanagi, and to keep the GMG separate from Kusari. These two bussinesses are our only interests in other factions, but we wouldn't do favors for them every day and every minute... we're Zoners after all, we are small in numbers, but we will fight for our rights and to defend ourselves. Sometimes we would go out to the most remote systems to find mysteries and adventures."



Background Information:

Zoners are a group of people that have chosen to live in the "unregulated" systems. No-one knows why but in theory it's because they choose to live a peaceful life. Zoners have no real enemies or allies. They have taken a bit of a influence from The Order and the Gas Miners Guild, due to the threat of the Nomads.

Enough about the other Zoners, let us talk about us. We are a diverse group of Zoners that have chosen to dedicate our lives to helping. Whilst is may sound cliche we give the poor a nice warm meal and a place to stay. Most have chosen to join us because we are a fun bunch. Notice the word choice.

Do not let this charity fool you. We are always willing to defend and protect our interests if needed. Whilst we will follow the latter of the law in house space, please remember that Border and Edge Worlds are not in the jurisdiction of any house.

For the most part we engage in trade. Besides trading, we practice. Practice, practice, practice. With space that way it is today, we never know when a pirate might think we are trespassing, or when a lawful thinks we are invading their space. We like to keep it neutral, but of course everyone else does not.

[Z] was proudly founded by two members, Kostura and Karank, the first and second in command. We are currently investing heavily in our defensive forces. We may share more information on our military, we may not. It is the Zoner way to keep their business to themselves, and we excel at it. We are a very new group and we don't have too much of a history. This will only change with time. We plan to make our "mark" and be known throughout the Sirius sector.

Zone of Influence: Mainly all Freeports, although we are everywhere.

Note:
1) We have our own traders, escorts, fighters and law.
2) We do jobs for outsiders, and these would cost only a bit more than affordable. If you need negotiators send messages to one of our Judicators, or if they're not around to one of our Founders.
3) Our leaders also wear a third tag 1st, 2nd, etc. (For easy identification.)
4) We only follow requests not orders. (We are Zoners.)

Any Civilian, Border Worlds, GMG, and Zoner ships. Order ships are also allowed but restricted.

Allowed Equipment:
Civilian, Order, salvaged equipment (restricted), nomad equipment (heavily restricted) and universally available equipment
Note: Nomad equipment will be registered for use in house space.

Diplomacy:
Allied-All Zoners.
Friendly-GMG and The Order.
Neutral-Everyone else.
Hostile-Keepers and Das Wilde.
