Umm...shut up and go do something productive? This thread is about fixing the Firefly, not bashing all the imports. Things like major warships and such might warrant replacement, but this isn't supposed to be a damn crusade. If you don't have anything productive to say about the topic at hand then amscray.

On that note, I suppose if I had the actual model where that thing was taken and an exorbitantly large amount of time that I could, theoretically, cut all the texture panels out one by one and sort of sow them together into simpler plates for our low-poly model...maybe...so I'd say it could be done, but I'm probably not the guy to talk to, since I lack (A) Da Skillz and (B) The Time.

So, Tenacity, I don't suppose you happen to have the model that this is rendered from? I can probably get it into Milkshape and try to see if it's possible to cut it apart.
