Noobius, yes, it's funny once, even twice, when you wake up every day to find a thread like this or something similar it stops being funny.

O'contraire I have not seen a post like this since I posted my "Navy ooRP post" (Lets not go to that subject eh?) maybe in the grand scheme of things you have seen way to many posts like this, but you are NOT finding them "every day" and if you are, "I want some screenshots with some dates" because I am not seeing them.

Yes, there are many good independents, fantastic ones even! However, becoming an LNS has been abused so often. Noobs who think that size matters, and want to destroy pirates always choose to become LNS.

Agreed, except I think the only good indies are pirates. :D

Now, we see this. Are people deliberately trying to find a way to make fun of the [LN]? Is it some sick pastime you fellows do, for the "lulz"?

And this is where you lost me, you can't see the funny side of something, your so blinded by your own narrow mindedness you think that every post that talks about [LN] being beaten in some way, is some sort of assault on their integrity, calm down.

And, as with Titan's response; We did nothing wrong. Imagine having a single sheriff in a county, being called to help against some bandits. When in fact, the call was just so he could get out of the way, and the smuggler could get through. Because, that's exactly what happened.

This time, there was only 1 [LN] online, and things in NY are fast paced, believe me. Those of you who've worked with us before, you know what I'm talking about.

Actually there were two, you can see so in the screen shot.

Things aren't exactly "chummy" for a single [LN] pilot, trying to patrol, catch smugglers, and assist traders against pirates.

When a trader asks for help, yes, we don't send the full force. We send a single, maybe a couple of pilots, depending on the size of the said pirate force. However, if we only have a single [LN] pilot in space, don't you think that it would be hard for him, to deal with a smuggler, while being asked to help the "supposed" trader?

Yes, however there were two [LN] on.

I don't understand why you're all getting into this case. If the [LN] officer didn't assist, he would have caught the smuggler, yes. But, more often than not, instances are that the trader IS needing help. So, we always go and assist.

Saying "haha navy got owned" is different then "haha navy didn't do their job, stupid navy"

There really is no need to make fun of the [LN]. I'm really sick and tired of people trying to find ways to ridicule us. Sure, we have had mistakes in the past, and we try to clear them up.

*Sigh* Again, laugh at yourself? If you can't do that then I think you might be a little insecure.

We do it within-RP. We do it for the good of Liberty, RP-wise. What the normal defense forces, in RL do as well. If there's a threat to the safety of it's citizens, we neutralize the threat, or try to resolve any conflict.

You lost me, what the smuggler did was within RP...

First off, maybe you should get used to these kinds of posts because they will never stop.

Second, lets say you work at a customer service desk. People call in everyday with questions, one lady asks "Are you open on labor day?" You say "Why no ma'am, we are not, sorry for the inconvenience." Then, 30 seconds later a man callas and asks, "Are you open on labor day?" You say "Why no sir, we are not, sorry for the inconvenience."

The whole day is like this, with people asking the EXACT SAME QUESTION OVER AND OVER AND OVER, do you get pissed off and say "FFS STFU! I HAVE ANSWERED THIS QUESTION 100000000 TIMES BEFORE YOU! WE ARE NOT OPEN ON FU**ING LABOR DAY! *hang up*"?

If people keep posting these kinds of things you are going to have to get used to it, and certainly freaking out every time they do is not going to help the matter in any way, so if another one of these is posted just chill out and let it slide under your radar.
