"That will be all... Sergeant" Xytan flicked his hand away, dismissing him

"Marines; At the glory and behest of our new assistant, Adjutant Reflex- I have come here today to present to you the 522nd's new line of Assault Weaponry and Equipment."

Adjutant Reflex hovered in from an access port in the ceiling humming along as he flew down to the large assembly of Marines

"Marines I present to you our newest weaponry, The Model 6 Galilean Nonlinear Rifle"



"Tenfold more powerful then the old Model 5's and powered by a BA-53635/PLMD Battery- Rechargeable by special generators." Xytan picked up the Laser and mounted it over his shoulder.

A target came up from one of the mobile floor platforms it was an eerie blue almost liquid form that was shaped in oval, fifteen more of these where brought and lined up - "Aim the laser and allow it five seconds to charge up the first time, consecutive shots need no charge-up; The laser will charge-down if not fired for more then 20 minutes. Observe"

The laser began to charge emitting a large red glowing ball at the front of the barrel and then unleashing itself at the speed of light towards its target in a torrent of blood red energy. Twelve of the fifteen targets where vaporized in a spectacular explosion of red and blue and marines where all amazed by the sheer firepower of the weapon.

Xytan put the laser down "In addition your armor is under-going upgrades- You will be able to operate in space amongst other things, Reflex would you please-"

The 'eye' of Adjutant Reflex lit up displaying a slightly blue hologram





"As you can see your helmets have been redone along with your armor, your Mark IV interceptor Armor has been replaced with the new Mark V Penultimate defense shielding- Its capable of withstanding more shots in addition energy fields have been added providing a shielding to hide behind in rushes. the shielding is frontal only leaving you open to the sides"

Adjutants projector changed from the new-armor to a weird transparent hexagonal blue field, the new shielding.





"Several other changes have been made and are posted on the public bulletins throughout the Justice, and we are working on new VTOL craft, You are all free to go" Xytan said, being dreadfully bored he proceeded down a mobile platform to the lower decks with Adjutant Reflex and down through dozens of winding corridors until he came back to the Odin's Eye - Activating the identification scanner then proceeding through into the Eye.

There was a white screen which immediately displayed a video of Yuri "Greetings Comrade"

"Hello Yuri"

"Do not waste time answering; this is merely a recording."

"How are you-"

"I am not. I merely used logic to determine what questions you would ask and in what order. Then I left the appropriate responses.

"Really?"

"Yes"

Xytan stifled a chuckle but let Yuri continue "Adjutant Reflex is the first of his kind yes, but not the last..."

"Interesting..."

"Yes quite- construction on other 'Monitors' have begun and within the week we should have several of them ready for active service... And you can laugh"

The recording closed and Xytan burst in laughter.
