Your interest in hobbyist mining is understandable. Mining is one of the most noble and ancient tasks to which a man can apply himself. However, let me forewarn you that the intricacies of deep space mining are far more nuanced than it may first appear. Why, how will they know when to use a simple niobium-reinforced diamond drillbit versus a boron cutting laser?
