This is true of course, but you could make the same argument about any zippy little ship or LF. Or even VHF vs. a capship or whatever.... "Hey this Titan can easily out-maneuver my gunship. It's not fair!" Is the Nomad unbalanced? Possibly. Bear in mind the L.10 shield is a LF shield, and it can't carry a torp (can it?).... Technically Nomad is a LF with a really strong hull. Maybe the turning rate could be lowered a bit. (but keep NPC Nomads as they are, for the challenge:)

btw. why would you use codenames when u can use solaris....damage/sec isn't as high but with refire ratio and projectile speed, you have a greater chance of landing more damaging shots.

Why indeed? Personally I don't like chainguns.... I think they're unbalanced and not cool, although some people swear by them. And with a high fire rate I reckon they contribute to server load and lag. On the downside, you have to keep the fire stream on the target for some time to do any significant damage. As for Solaris, their energy drain is way too high to be useful on a fighter.
