Out of roleplay for a corsair gunboat to be carrying cap ship armour?

So a race of people who are able to fight a sirius wide war against the "mighty" outcasts and their allies, build their own cap ships which in include dreadnoughts and hold lawful forces at bay as well inside Brettonia are..... merely "surviving"....

I beg to differ.

i guess what elgatodiablo was trying to say is that corsairs, while they may hev power and wealth, still have to live on the outskirts of the universe furtively running around without the trappings of supposedly highly developed nations like Liberty and Rheinland with their strong middle class base.

Liberty is a bit of a joke really, seeing that the model on which it is based on (the USA) is now sliding into the third world.
