Just a question, it crossed my mind...

What about those 'empty' things lots of us happen to end up after they buy/re-buy a larger ship, for example when the trains and Battleships are bought and you already had a battleship or so and you end up with a few of those 'empty items' that are only seen in the 'trade' screen?

They do disappear when you die. that's relatively easy solvable. Could those be the reason for lag?

Also, quite some servers limit the number of items on a single char to 90-100 because it supposedly may cause lag and account corruption? My storages hold items near that number, I'm sure many other people's storages hold that much too, I'll count my stuff.
