I dont know much about moding here, but since its not just the trains, wolf said thay are the worse, but any pre 4.80 cap ship causes lag. wouldnt that mean atleast part of the problem is coming from something else that was changed? where there any changes made to how the bigger ships fly or how the enviroment of the game reacts to the capital ships?

Also with all the other servers running this mod now, it might be a good idea before even simutlating a whipe to check with admins of some of the new servers and see if they are having the lagg issues too. If they are then it would be a pretty safe assumption they a player whipe here wont solve the problem since none of their players will have anything that came from previous patches.
