Greetings. I am Juan 'Jackal' Carlos, Captain of the Gunboat KI-RIN. Earlier tonight we had a mishap. I am truly sorry, as I had not seen the back and forth that went on earlier while I was hard at work, building secret compartments in my ship. When I did eventually launch, I found my HUD had been reprogrammed. I ignored this as a part of coincidence, as I have NEVER fired upon Junker vessels. They were up till recently our hosts. I am sorry for my ship and crew being dragged into this ordeal, as you learned tonight, I was unaware of the tensions. Or the existance of this no fire sone. I have still received no word of this or these actions from I.N.R.I. though I expect something soon. Even while I was engaging the Bundschuh pilot, you may have noted that I had not a single Junker pilot, and never returned fire on the patrolman just doing their jobs. Please inform the other councilmen that not all of the RaVeN wish the prior status we had upon Yanagi and the other Junker bases to be revoked. However, if this is unavoidable, then our men will comply. It has been a gracious stay, and fruitful for both sides. If this must be the end, then so be it. Thank you, for the hospitality shown, and the level heads I encountered tonight.
I received this communication from "RaVeN" seccom. The reponse of the Outcasts has been entirely positive regarding us in this matter and our respect for the wisdom and leadership of the Dons is expressed again.
We will wait for the formal treaty to be drawn and will then announce specifics of what behaviors are acceptable.
Until then, pilots there will not attack, threaten or ignore Junker requests when they are operating within 2k of the base. No combat will be initiated within 2k radius of the base. Follow those rules until a multiparty agreement is drawn and there will be no more trouble. After the agreement is signed, a more comprehensive set of rules of conduct will be presented.
We have held of on construction and deployment of capital vessels to this point so that diplomacy has time to run its course. We can discuss these matters more specifically when a formal accord is agreed.
