As a Civilian Ship, I believe you are wrong. Ships such as the Stinger, Eagle, Big Dragon, etc, are produced all over Kusari, and not just at their selling point. They are really all Civilian Ships, where any civilian with the money is capable of buying one. The GMG might have designed it, but it is a civilian produced ship, just like the Tiger Shark for Rheinland Civilians.

Agreed, I think it would be nice if your leaders had access to Chimaeras and Wyrms.

As for anything heavier, a GB namely, you might try getting the KNF's permission, and use it as your flagship.

I don't think this is a good idea. Samura has good relations with the KNF/KSP, sure, but there is a respect in Kusari society that isn't present in the other houses. BowEx might be able to grab a few Templars from the corrupt Bretonian government, just like Samura, but the different is, in Kusari society, you put out a face of neutrality at all times to all other houses and do not openly show the favor of other factions. You deal with your problems underhandedly, and not openly as in the other houses.

On that note, in Kusari, your enemy has respect. They know that the moment you decide your enemy has lost all chances of victory, you face your own defeat. That is why things are done underhandedly. Even Samura, who knows that they have political and economical superiority over everyone, will do things through the Hogosha and Farmer's Alliance, instead of using the government to deal with them. When Samura comes under attack from the Blood Dragons or Golden Chrysanthemums, they will deal with it like a company that has an political disadvantage, not like a company that can do basically anything they want to in the government, because to do otherwise would disregard their enemies in Kishiro and GMG.

EDIT: And the monopoly of the GMG is not complete. Rheinland processes Deuterium at Mannheim Station, which also mines Deuterium off the nearby Planet Heidelberg. Samura also does produce SOME Gas from Hokkaido. The GC and Blood Dragons take most of it, but some is produced.
