the "loss" of the gunship might weigh quite heavily - but the BHG gets an improved orca ( smaller, more compact with a forward gun that is very well placed ( compared to the current one ) - so the BHG doesn t loose much. - we ll just see more orcas than gunships.

and believe me, the gunship is a bomberkiller. - bomberpilots will curse it.

now - what we do miss is a really generic / civilian gunboat - but part of the reason we dont have something like that anymore is - that "generic" as a term and a way to RP is less popular among most it seems. - that is why generic traders were nerft, generic pirates are unpopular, freelancers are somewhat odd, too - and generic military etc. was always looked upon suspiciously.

again - it was the community that kinda asked to get rid of "generic" stuff and factionize things more.... a consequence is that gear becomes factionized, too. - just be happy that at least the zoner GB is still free for all that can afford it - would have only needed a slightly adjusted ID card to make it zoner only, too.... which would really only leave the kusari explorer for civilians - and that only for kusari civilians.
