Description:
The ZSF doesn't exist, no Zoner will acknowledge it's existance. The Zoners deny that the ZSF attack any faction who threaten freeports and to attack factions to keep them from becoming threats. As any Zoner will say they don't attack Corsair and outcast targets to escalate the war between them so they tie up their reasources, nor have they ever raided Red hession transports to reprive them of weapons to force them to buy from Zoners and they don't ambush junker or honshu patrols to eliminate Zoner competitors. They wouldn't do that. If they existed. As any Zoner will tell you.

Backstory:
In the early days of the Zoners when the first freeports were being built it was realised that there would always be groups that would become powerful enough to decide that the Zoners would be more trouble then they were worth. The Zoner Special Forces were created from the old latin saying: si vis pacem, para bellum - if you want peace, prepare for war. The Zoners wanted peace, peace is profitable, but was is also profitable and the ZSF were there to ensure both. Over the years the ZSF sercetly played one side agaist the other always making sure that no one gained the upper hand. Random attacks on faction patrols were conducted silently, the destruction of the ships blamed on the other side. If any ZSF was seen the Zoners simply said the it was a freelancer or a rouge Zoner using their ships. However during the Nomand war many of the ZSF were destroyed defending the freeports, since then they have remained in a diminished state and have only recently begun to stretching out their hand again.

Goal:
To protect Zoner interests by any means, and attack factions who could threaten Zoner freeports or Zoners in general.

Role playing:
Be protective of Zoners, suppotive of allies, follow a RP more like The Order as they are a serect organisation and work behind the scenes like the ZSF.

Allies:

The Order- In their early days agents of the ZSF encontered The Order. Realising the threat of the nomands the ZSF allied themselves with The Order who provided knowledge about the nomand ships helping the ZSF to succesfully defend many of the border world freeports.
GMG- The ZSF goal is to prevent threats to the Zoners not to eliminate trade. As the GMG is the primary supplyer of H fuel it is in the best interests of the ZSF to ensure the consant and uninterupted supply of H fuel, thus fueling the ships of trades who buy and sell at freeports. It is in the best interests of Zoners to protect the interests of the GMG.

Trial people: Officer Cadets - able to fly Heavy Fighters or Light Fighters
Sub Lieutenant - able to fly Heavy Fighters or Light Fighters
Flight Lieutenant - able to fly bombers or below (maybe gunboats)
Wing Commander - able to fly destroyers or below
Group Captain - able to fly destroyers or below
Commodore - able to fly Battleships or below (only 1 person can achieve this rank)
Admiral - able to fly battleships or below (only 1 person can achieve this rank)

Limits on amount of people per rank will be decided later.


It is unlikely that the ZSF will go for an official faction status as that would put us on the map, which isn't what the ZSF is about.
