That's what I get for being nice and it's my fault really for being ooRP and not mindlessly shoot the transport to oblivion. Still wonder why we are so strict and not very nice?

Actually - no, i don't wonder it at all.. i know why you guys wanna shoot things, Kos those affiliated guys... those guys jumped you, acted like criminals and shot without warning... I'd wanna shoot them as well....

but if the military are gonna act like.. well.. the military? then... I'd say... suck it up!.... Criminals break the law they break the rules, thats why they're criminals, and when they act like them.. and shoot you first... well, they are not actually acting out of RP... don't get me wrong, once that affiliated character has stepped over the line then do what you did, safety's off, and take them down... then, you can whack that Char's name on the RM forum as a "blacklisted" individual...

because, by that stage, they have committed a crime. But until they do.. (and it's just my opinion) i still think just opening up on affiliated characters is a bit harsh.... (i realise you said you don't do it, but by the comment at the end of your post "wonder why we aren't very nice" it kinda suggests that, if you're not doing it now.. you might be thinking about doing it...:)or condoning those who do.... (warning them off like you said you did is a good way to handle it - but even then, if i was that char, i would argue that despite my stated affiliations, im not committing a crime, and you have no right to fire upon me)


my point is, the military is a lawful force, and thus has to act lawfully - you're right, their job isn't to be nice, its to protect the country and keep it secure... but they still have to do that within the confines of the law, and i think just opening fire on someone isn't lawful.

Thats why militaries have rules of engagement.
