Nothing much has happened recently. I'm enjoying the relative peace while I can. I've decided to start saving up money for a new ship. I knew that there would be a time when I would have to gie up my father's old ship, but I didn't expect it to be so soon. A guy in a bar mentioned that Camaras are very good, and easy for a small-time trader like me to get my hands on. Apparently, it has quadruple the cargo hold of this flakey thing. It would mean that I'll have to go to Rheinland to buy one. I'm really not looking forward to that part of it.
I just hope it doesn't make me more of a target for pirates. I saw a few today, but they left me alone.

I haven't been looking for employment recently, as I think being independant will be alright, at least for a while.

Oh boy. I saw mother again. She seems to be worse now that I left. I want to feel sorry for her, but in a way, she deserves it. She was crying and trying to make me stay, but then I'd probably end up like her. I noticed that she had some synthetic marijuana, even though she had tried to hide it. I nearly flipped and reported it to the police, but I think it's okay to have small quantities. I didn't want to confront her abuot it, because she'd probably tell me some made-up story about how much of a bad son I am.
