it depends much on perception of roles. - in a way.... ( for example ) there could be the IMG faction - and an IMG tagged group with military ID.

in that case, the first one would be miners and workers.. the later one would be their security force. - they would have a military ID, cause "merc" doesn t fit, cause they re not for hire - and they wouldn t have IMG, cause they are no miners, but their primary duty is not mining, but fighting or protecting.

thats just an example of how the military ID might be used... other than that - its just another useless generic ID.
