Fleet Admiral Percy Nelles choked on his tea.

"Mackenzie? That butcher?"

"Yes sir." The aide had just handed the wing recruitment summaries to the Fleet Admiral.

Nelles just looked incredulous at his aide, who explained, in a pained voice,

"He DOES meet the program requirements sir. And he can fly, so they say."

Nelles shook his head. "Have we really stooped to recruiting convicted killers?"

The aide smirked. "Those that can fly, yes sir."

Nelles sighed, then signed the forms where indicated.

"So he wants to fight Kusari, eh? Well, send him up there."

The aide took the paperwork, and turned to leave after a sharp salute. Before the aide left, the Fleet Admiral added;

"Keep him the HELL away from civilians!"
