To whom it may concern,

I would first like to reiterate my immense gratitude for the wonderful hospitality I've experienced on behalf of your people. My work has been unfettered and, if anything, accelerated by the incredible cooperation and encouragement the people of Malta have provided me. I am pleased, at this point, to say that my research into neural grafting has been quite fruitful, and your coalition will soon have the added tactical capabilities this technology will provide.

The coalition's requested forays into genetics are progressing steadily as well; however, I have run into quite an interesting problem. I need to perform a fair amount of my future research in microgravity, as humanity has done in the past with pharmaceutical technologies. As we cannot seem to replicate such an environment on Malta, I've taken to utilizing my gunship for this.

Unfortunately, I've run into some difficulties. I have incredible respect for the valiant defenders of your home, but it seems the bounty hunters have become incredibly persistent; perhaps the price on my head has increased dramatically, or maybe they just don't like me alive very much, but the defenses of my vessel have been repeatedly overwhelmed. I simply cannot further my work under these conditions, and forget moving into frontier systems to gather supplies and subjects!

I was informed of an RM-1 Destroyer near completion in Corsica, and I formally request ownership (if the vessel is, as yet, unassigned). My colleagues have already provided me the necessary funding and materials needed, and I'm sure my reputation speaks for itself if any questions arise.

The vessel would be named "Transcendence"; it would be armed with standard Outcast destroyer weapons systems, as well as a single light mortar for defense against larger threats. It will be quite the traveller I'm afraid (still conforming of course with the New York directive and applicable additional restrictions), as I'll need to visit foreign territories to gather the appropriate materials for my work; however, I will of course gladly assist the Outcasts and their allies should my vessel be needed. It is, after all, the least I could do after all your people have done for me.
