Before we continue on this discussion and address what possible actions we can take, it would be best if we could get some more information on what happened.

Your IFF did show up as Liberty Police? This is important because there are many transports that have stolen our ship IDs, yet are not actual Zoners. Simply greedy traders trying to take advantage of our neutrality. As such, Corsairs and many other pirates pirate them anyway. If this is the case, and you had a Police transponder, than the Corsair took steps we could have expected him to make, and an act we cannot fault him for.

The second question I have; Which solar system were you in when the Corsair stopped you? This is quite important as well.

I suggest you fix your transponders to correctly show your allegiance. Also, you need to register for the Zoner Council if you wish any protection we may be able to offer. It may, or may not, help. But its worth a try, for pirates are more likely to leave you be and respect neutrality if you are a member of the Council.

On the suggestion that we prohibit any Corsairs from docking our Freeports.. I can guarantee it is not going to happen, nor will I encourage such an act in the Council. We cannot punish an entire nation for the act of one pilot, who may or may not even be at fault in what he had done.
