Lachlan had never had much interest in police work: granted, he'd have done ANYTHING to get off Leeds, but it just didn't seem like his sort of job.
That is, until his older sister vanished without a trace, leaving a shattered family and two baffled police forces. After the BPA called off their search, a disgusted Lachlan determined that he could do a better job himself, and marched right down to the nearest BPA recruitment office.
After much to-ing and fro-ing, red tape, greasing of palms and so forth, he managed to be accepted and headed out into the black to search for the sister who'd always been there for him...
