Quote:It seems 2 of your factions goals are unreachable unless you are Igiss mate
* Expansion of the Gate/Trade Lane network (needs to be done by modders)
* Expansion of Weapon and Ship Technologies (needs to be done by modders)
Other then that maybe at a goal as to that one of your goals is to actually protect the tradelanes itself? I don't know.
I have already realized this. Therefore when the faction become official and gets really rolling I will be talking to Igiss to see about getting the lanes already being worked on finished and new lanes for the new systems to be progressively built. It would be nice to see systems actually being colonized and built up. Preferably not unoccupied one mod release and then fully populated and built the next. I think it should be shown in maybe 2 stages. 3 preferably but that IS a long time.
Quote:Researchers would be involved with nomad studies (therefore legal access to Alaska?)
A list of allowed ships would be useful too... I'm kindof interested... but I'm no escort or PvPer, and legal trading is a bit dull, so that leaves researchers... but I don't really know how to play them.
Without even a second thought to this. NO! Researchers for the Ageira corporation would not be testing or interacting with the nomads directly, they would rather be interested in improving the efficiency of the weapons the company produces, making the lanes and gates more effective. Ageira has access to the research for the Valhalla 1 site. They are the corporation responsible for turning what is discovered in the Valhalla site into a usable things. (I am not 100% sure on this but them being the inventors of the Jumpgate and the Tradelanes. I suspect more. And if it pans out more WILL be made.)
Quote:There was actually an unofficial faction doing just that a few months ago. Lane_Security they were called, and they essentially operated a rapid response force against any unlawfuls disrupting tradelanes.
I have already begun talks with this group. We are discussing on whether or not a merger would be in our best interests for all of our goals.
