Well, the Hawaii is a little hard to base out from. Curacao, on the other hand, isn't. It's situated between Liberty and Bretonia, and that could be used to your advantage. ZoI is a hard thing with factions like this, because the mythos can't give you an idea right off the bat. Also, you have to think about hostile relations between the houses. That won't restrict your ZoI, and it's a bit besides the point, but that's an important thing to get straight for an indy trading corp. Can't have new recruits shipping between Bretonia and Kusari, Rheinland and Liberty, etc.
I got sidetracked. ZoI. I'd suggest you started slow and small. Maybe Liberty and Bretonian trading, since you might be situated perfectly for that. That also gives you the opportunity to smuggle with the Mollies, and perhaps get RP agreements with them forumside and serverside. I really see that having some potential. From there you might start adding new agreements and trade routes as your RP takes you. It's really hard to set out a concrete ZoI for this kind of thing, but maybe if you set your current ZoI, and where you may advance from there. Your business goals, so to speak.
