A busy day filled with smugglers and pirates. I departed from Missouri and linked up with the LN and LSF forces. Hobgl held position near the Nofolk shipyards and claimed that Alexi Stukov was hauling artifacts. He was involved in the incident a while back with the attack at Manhattan (See other report). Now in a whale, he repeatedly docked and undocked with Nofolk. I called in backup, with LPI-Detupty Simon Jenkins, LSF Agent Cutter, SDS Recon Lt. Gafwmn, and Lieutenant Hastings along with Hobgl and I to destroy Stukov as soon as he left Nofolk. During this time, an outcast Destroyer by the name of Parasite arrived and attempted to attack. We had the upper hand, as most of our ships consisted of bombers. He quickly fell and Stukov used this time to run. Deputy Jenkins pursued him into the Pittsburgh Debris field where his engines were distrupted and his ship destroyed.
After this incident, 3 CardEx affiliated ships arrived with diamonds claiming they were from Texas. We had no proof so we had to let them pass. After the suspected smugglers, 2 mercenarys arrived. They claimed they were on a 'mission' to destroy Xenos in a debris field. We asked them to leave, explaining the Mercenary Ban we had imposed on Liberty.
After this, Hobgl reported that there was a rogue at Manhattan by the name of Trip. I quickly arrived and we engaged the Barghest Bomber. After a few jousts, he was destroyed with no casualties on our side. I had no time for a break however as Deputy Jenkins reported the appearance of a Rheinland Valkyre by the name of Firgilius. He ordered him to leave, and he did without question.
After the debacle near Norfolk, LSF Cutter and I left for Texas to enforce the Embargo. On the way, I met Firgilius again after he was ordered to leave. I did so again, and escorted him out into Hudson. Cutter and I maintained postion near Houston, wary for any smugglers and pirates. A pirate named Shade appeared but quickly left when he saw us. LNS Voyager also joined us at this time. Cutter eventually finished his shift and left, leaving Voyager and I to maintain the Embargo. CardEx made another appearance and with Voyager and I thinned out between the Jumpgates, there was no stopping them.
With many of the navy officers finishing their shifts, Voyager and I were the only ones able to respond to Trent Heartnet's request for help. He reported that there was a Xeno attack at West Point. We were not able to arrive in time however, and his gunboat was destroyed. Shade was also back, claming that he had 3 LPI officers and bounty hunter pilots in his hold. I approached him, trying to coerce him into giving them up, however to no avail. He demanded 2 million credits for the release of the pilots. Arms Dealer Malarlo paid him and the pilots were rescued. I could not finish him however, as he fled into the Badlands. The 4 Xenos were spotted attacking West Point. Their names are XA Blacktail, Eggz'N'Bacon, Tyler.Grossenbaer and XA Sidewinder. Hobgl and I held them off until several gunboats came to assist us. The gunboats were the first to fall, as the Xenos concentrated on them. The battle itself was a mess as guns were blazing and many shots were left without hitting a target on both sides. Everyone was juking and firing for about 20 minutes until Tyler Grossenbaer left. After this, Gafwmn and Agent Deuce McKay arrived. I asked only the fighters and bombers to attack. Krusa also arrived, and we continued to attack the 3 Xenos. Finally, Agent McKay destroyed Eggs'N'Bacon with a torpedo shot. After more exchanges of fire, the remaining xenos fled. A disturbing note: Alexi Stukov somehow hacked into our secure comms and requested a reward for assisting in the defense against the Xenos. I curtly told him that he had a fine to pay for his recent artifact dealings. He quickly left without a word.
After the Xeno attack, I flew to California, as I recieved a tip from Weapons dealer Malarlo of a Lane Hacker incursion near Mojave. I arrived, seeing LH Phate and LH Milton Krest, the former in a Sabre and the latter in a Dagger. I was surprised to see many freelancers already firing at the Hackers. I joined the fray, as Phate concentrated his Prometheuses on me. The freelancers, however wanted me to leave as there was an apparent bounty on them. LH Milton Krest left the fight as Phate continued to fire on me. My ship with weapons in the red were barely able to survive Phate's onslaught. I thrusted away, hoping to leave the battle alive. He, realizing what I was trying to do, cut the tradelanes. I veered back, juking to make it look like I was heading to California Minor, then at the last second, thrusted to Los Angeles. I took the tradelane and left.
