Looking over reports in her candle lit quarters, Kristy could only smile at what had happened, what was supposed to be a shakedown cruise Turned into a flight from one system to another.

" Captain, Bernard Fokke is here to see you, " she shuffled around a few more papers, " Ohh, yes let him in " the door slide open and bernard walked in.

" Heard you had a little chase this morning " he grinned as he pulled up a chair, kristy just glared, " It was supposed to be a shake down, see how the weapons handled with the new systems, but as We used the new jump engines, we where thrown to New london by mistake, and low and behold a squadron of Bounty Hunter capital ships came out of the trade lanes.

Bernard laughed, Krist sipped her wine and continued, " Well, about ten hours later, I was able to shake them In Tau-31, jammed there Radar and Use the jump engines to jump to Malta, sufficite to say its not been a good day "

She poored Bernard a glass, and stood up and looked out the Large windows in her Cabin, Bernard stood up, " Well, at least you can say you escaped what, about a dozen SF and SSO ships with only a scratched shield? "and she finished, " And a dented pried, But I'd rather have that then in a Bounty Hunter stockade.

" Well, Its good that your back we've got those weapons you asked for, and there ready to install " he finished as he gulped the rest of his drink. Kristy turned, " I'll be right up " and with that Bernard left.
