In the year 807. AD, the Outcasts are under great danger from their long lost
brethren, the Corsairs. Heavy daily strikes, numerous casualties and constant
threat are making Outcast weaker every day. Even though Outcasts are more
skilled pilots, the number of Corsairs is larger every day. Many new ships, both
large and small, are constantly built, so that every ship that falls is instantly
replaced by two other vessels. For this reason, the Shenron, the new hope, was
built, by the finest engineers the Outcasts have. This master piece of a warship,
built in the shipyards of Corsica Outer Sanctum, combines immense firepower
and one of the toughest armors throughout Sirius. The construction of the ship
began in the 809. AD, by a visionary of the name Arturo Piniones. He came up
with the first concept of a flying fortress, reinforced with the strongest alloys
available. After the plans for the model were complete, the construction finally
started in 811 AD. Many of the problems were yet to be solved.

...today we encountered yet another problem with propulsion system design of the
ship. The engines he predicted to be built in the ship... Well... I just dont think
they will be able to move it, with all the hull reinforcements the ship has. For this
reason, I sent a letter to one of my friend, one Doctor Ivan Emerson, a Zoner
scientist specialized in engine construction, who came up with the engine concept
for their Juggernaut class vessels. I am hoping he will be able to solve our

...was brilliant. Today we finally solved the engine problem for our new warship,
so we are all celebrating. I really didn't believe we will be able to do it, but this
now propulsion technology is just... Something else...
This was just one among many problems with the ship. More then 800 engineers
and 60 scientists were working on it, but the construction still moved slowly. The
breakthrough was made in 814. AD by Inez Liorens, a brilliant young mind, whose
idea of merging 3 totally unrelated alloys into one extremely though, yet light
compound, which allowed the production to finally get under way, the way it was
supposed to. Eventualy, all other minor problems were solved, and the ship was
finally constructed in 815. AD. But there were still a lot of test that had to be
performed, from which we will mention only one.
During one of the briefings, a member of the council, tired by the bragging of the
scientists that their ship "Could fly through the black hole", suggested that it is
put to the test.

...my God, it survived... It actually survived the radiation and gravity weld of the
singularity near Corsica... I still can't believe it... Most of... No... All other ships
would be smashed to bits, while the Shenron took only minor damage, and only
one hull breach... I'm... I'm still in shock... And just to think of...
Yes, the ship survived. Damaged, it returned safely to the shipyards of Corsica,
where it was fully repaired, and finished in the following 6 months. Later that
month, crew was assigned to Shenron. 500 of the finest tactical officers,
engineers, and crewmen were aboard their new home.
The Captain assigned to this warships is Diego Estavez, born on planet Malta in
764. AD, was one of the most promising students of the Ibiza Tactical Warefare
College, assigned to Corsica Outer Sanctum in 789. AD. His tactical skills and
knowledge allowed him to advance quickly, thru gunships to destroyers. In 808.
AD he was assigned to one of the newly built battleships. In 815., in the battle
against Corsairs near Palermo his ships was used as the flagship, and successfully
managed to fend off the Corsair attack force. Victory that day was
why he was chosen to command the Shenron, because he proved, one final time,
that he can stay calm even under the greatest preassure.
