I've just spent 400 hours over the past 4 months upgrading trade routes. If nerfing was on the agenda I would have been done within a week or two, instead of still going home every night after work and spending 3 hours working on it 5 nights a week so that people could enjoy playing a free game, which has not been free at all for myself and the other people who have spent a huge amount of their time working to improve it.
But at least you're appreciative and grateful and don't spread unfounded falsehoods. That makes it all worthwhile.
