While Ben Looter was revising the entire freighter, Vick Blaster, Lyla Flore Willdor, Durango Flore (cyborg) and Jeff Willdor were having a little discussion in the bar of the Exodus in orbit of Manhattan...

Jeff: So what are guys going to drink ?
Lyla: I think I'm gonna have your speciality my love... The cocktail StonerSpace
Vick: Oooh yea Rock on Baby I love that drink... make it two !
Durango: I'll just have a fresh juice without alcohol... I don't want to burn my Cybernetic....
Jeff: Glad to hear that you like my elixir....And Durango... I'll make you a nice cocktail without alcohol...

Jeff prepared the drinks with some thought in his mind....

Jeff: Tell me Vick... I know that you don't like it.... But it's now a long time that we know you.... But to be honest we don't really know you... We only know how you act in life... But What is it in your mind that keeps your past so secret ?
Lyla: Yeeeaa.. It's true... Have you done something wrong in the past ?
Durango: By the look of his face I can tell he doesn't want to talk about it...
Vick: Erm... Jeff ? is your drink ready ?

Jeff put the drinks on the bar....

Jeff: Right... they are..... here yo... (Lyla cut)
Lyla: Hold on Jeff.... You will give that drink under one condition.... Vick... You know we take care of each other here in this damn ship.... We've been in many situations all together... At this moment Ben Looter entered the bar and heard the conversation...

Ben: Ahoy everybody so what is it you hide Vick ?
Vick: pffffff..... Al'right guys you won ! I sense that you've been preparing that interrogation.... Right... To be honest I wasn't that bad in the past.... I was just smuggling artefact, drugs, and all the crap you can imagine... I flew my old eagle in many dangerous systems to ensure the living of my wife and myself... Well that wasn't big money... But it kept us alive for those times....
Jeff: I did not knew you had a wife ? Where is she ? Secretly hidden in Gran Can..... (Vick cut)

Vick grabbed Jeff by the neck and screamed....

Vick: With all due RESPECT Captain.... Don't you EVER TALK about me wife that way.... Or you will feel my RAGE...

Durango gets to Vick and grabs him with his force...

Durango: I suggest you calm down your nerves Vick.... Jeff did not meant to hurt you...
Vick: Yeaa you're right this time toaster...(Vick never trust machines and half human-machines) I'm sorry Jeff... That's someone you can't joke about... You see I don't hide her... She... just... doesn't exist anymore... (A tear comes out his eye)
Jeff: I'm so sorry my friend... I did not knew... I'm stupid I should have think before....
Vick: That's ok... Shall I continue now that you know the beginning ?
Jeff: Sure.... Here take the drink...
Ben: Oh man I knew it ! Why you did not say before.... You know we're your friends....
Vick: I know... Thanks guys... You gave me reason to live again by protecting this community... anyway...
One day my wife Isabella Dos Santos... She was an ex Outcast... ask me if she could come in my travels... You see I travelled many times and we were missing each other.... So I did not refuse as my sentiment couldn't... So we smuggled together in dangerous zones.... We went to Omicron Gamma to take the artefacts for cheap credits... You see I know friend in liberty that buy them at high price... We needed the damn cash... At destination we dealt with a corsair... Then we launched from Crete... And there was another smuggler dealing more artefacts.... He asked us if we'd like to join formation as he knew short cuts to get to Liberty in short time... Also we had no choice as we had just enough H-Fuel for this trip... In gamma we had to pass a strange nebula.... Then we reached the unknown for both of us... The smuggler told that was the System Kappa... He told to be careful of the autonomous... We've travelled near a planet when suddenly loads of you know what....
Jeff: mmm Those freakin' aliens right ?
Vick: yea.... They engaged all of us.... I had to fight for our lives.... Maaan they are so strong... We had to eject in each of our pods... It was weird.. because the nomads stopped to fire and came close to Isabella's pod... I contacted the smuggler to tractor us right away...but as he reached us, the nomads captured my wife's pod.... It was too late I couldn't save her with that freakin' transport of the smuggler.... I can still hear my wife's screams in my head....erm...(He became silent for 10 second).... Sorry.... As I entered the transport cockpit the smuggler said "I'm sorry dude. It's my fault I should have warn you and stay close to you...." At this moment I had all the rage you can't imagine of.... I grabbed my blaster and pointed it at the smuggler's head.... I can hear him begging for his life.... I shot him down and took control of his crew and ship... Then I headed back in gamma and took a safer way to Liberty... I will always have the regrets to... not being able to.... protect my wife.... I'm sure those frekin' grubs took control of Isabella... I would rather think that she's dead....

The bar became silent... Their was only the ship's engines on standing by.... No one knew what to say....

Vick: guys.... are you still alive....
Lyla: This is terrifying.... I heard about those aliens.... But never in that way.... All the other peoples talks lies.... Especially the LSF and LN...
Jeff: It is indeed a sad story my friend... I don't know what to say...
Vick: There is nothing to say unless... All I want now... Is to exterminate those Nomads... if they continue the whole Sirius will become corrupted....
Ben: I hope it won't happened....
Durango: I have data about those nomads.... In my discoveries, I went to this system called Kappa... I have seen the alien and terminated some of them... But more interesting... I managed to get my way trough a system owned by The Order... There I have met an Order pilot that told me to leave right away... For my own data I asked him before what is the purpose of the order... He answered that they are here to protect Sirius against the Nomad Threat...
Jeff: The Order.... mmm I've heard of them... I know that they are enemies of the Liberty authorities... A Navy Lieutenant called Rick Gunner told me about The Order too... not much that I could retrieved from him though...
What I don't understand is... Why are they fighting against each other..... I mean they have both one same goal....Terminate the Nomads... Those stupid politics... They should all join forces to fight the aliens...
Lyla: Yeeea you know... I don't really trust the Liberty anyway and all the other houses... Maybe The Order got the same feelings as me...
Vick Ben Durango and Jeff: AND US !
Vick: You know sometimes I wish to go back there.... To the kappa... To avenge my loss... But on my own... I'll just become a puppet of the nomads....
Jeff: Maybe we should visit The Order sometimes....
Lyla: I don't feel really up to get in those systems but... Why not... we could be able to help them....
Vick: I wish I was fighting with them... Maybe my wife would be still here....
Jeff: Vick again I'm sorry... And I thank you to release your deepest secrets... It's good to see you still have something in your head than all your weapons...
Vick: Heck.... Those guns can be useful sometimes...

Jeff grabbed is device to send a transmission to the whole crew....

Jeff: Listen up all... Captain Willdor speakin'... I ask all of you to get a good rest on Manhattan... You'll need it.... Soon we will head to the Theta... Then we will improvise what to do... That is all.... Enjoy your journey on the planet...
