I summoned my old and trustworthy ship, the Serpent Liner. As it docked with the Australis, I asked Gerd to go onboard and keep the engines running. In the meantime, I used Serpent`s cargo handlers to move the shield and power generators from Australis into the Serpent Liner.



The Australis`s power buffer was filled. I shut down the ship, except the weapon systems. The Libertonians were coming for us, they had us on their scanners. Australis will play a final role, and cover our way out.



I started tearing. My dream... is crumbling. A stray of white light pulled me away from my thoughts. A liberty cruiser opened fire on the Australis, and my ship started returning fire. The cruiser exploded, I saw the hull of the former glorious ship passing above the fight deck. I felt an immense joy... and pride.



I ran all the way to the Serpent Liner, and ran away in a hurry. The Navy boyscouts didn`t saw us. That ship we had did a terrific job at keeping us safe. I saw my dream... my pride... my whole vision... destroyed. Australis was destroyed.
