A few months passed since I last filled in this journal... and I should admit it. I traded like an idiot on high. Because I am an idiot. Nothing else to do... than trade, drink on the stations when we land. Sleep. And inject cardamine into my body.




I... John Shark, was addicted on Cardamine. Gerd was using it to fight off his depression... maybe I was doing the same. Our trips to Malta were more frequent than in the past. Me and Gerd were making connections between them. We both embraced their lifestyle... their culture.



I even donated sums to the Outcast War Effort against the Corsairs. I see them as filth, as something despicable. I once started talking with Gerd. He told me that he would sell his soul to the Devil only to fly once more. Little did he knew, that I wanted to make his dream come true...



I informed him about the new Australis. Which was currently under construction on Malta. When he heard that... he insisted to leave him on the ship building site. He gave the ship a personal touch, with the few minor modifications he requested. And a few months after that... the beast was airborne. The toughest and latest armor upgrades were installed on it.



The beast was ready to fly... [TERRA]-Australis... my long lost dream.
