But I saw that Illidan is killable!!! What does that mean????
And how is it not related to the original storyline? So why are
those 8 million people doing? Giving money to Blizzard, so that
in the end they come and say: "Actually disregard that
Arthas was saved by Jaina in the end of WOTLK, everything you've
been playing was actually a dream from Thrall, mbwahhahahahahah".

They will make it fit into the storyline, and I won't be able to kill Illidan
(yet) again :(.

No, no, no and a thousand times no. Diablo cannot be a MMORPG.

Diablo survived. Come on, you saw the cinematic. Big guy, flaming, red, three mouths.
I doubt it's Belial and/or Azmodan, although I am sure they will appear somehow.

And stop giving Blizzard these Ideas!!!!

WoW story DOES NOT have sense. Its true! I read the books, played the campaign several times.

i played warcraft 1 (only for the story, its a crappy game), warcraft 2 and warcraft 3. I also read many comprehensive story models. ALL MADE PERFECT SENSE!!!

WoW does not.

First things first:

Timeline


Ill start with the official story that was true in all games except WoW.
war between the Scourge and all other living beings had taken its toll on the "main continent" where all other races except the elves had been torn apart by the Human vs Horde war. The fought for centuries...even beyond the dark portal...in outland.

Those portals had been sealed off and later Outland was taken by Magtheridon. (or was it some other pit lord...i get that mixed up)

so basically we have:

1) The horde assembles in outland. they are numerous and "owned" by the MOST POWERFUL of all pitlords: Manoroth

2) "The horde" is only composed of orcs and ogers, they invade Azeroth. The humans build mighty castles to defend themselves. The Ogers die out. The trolls join forces with the horde along with goblins, as they were huntead down and soon to be exterminated by both humans, elves and God-Dragons.

3) The war wages on, ITS THE ORIGINAL HUMAN versus ORC WAR. elves are merely mercs in the human army (know later as blood elves) Night elves are safe up north in quel'thalas and other regions, suffering only from troll raids. They ARE NOT TAKING PART IN THE WAR!!!

4) Humans are wining the war, suppressed dwarves join them, mages from the eternal city Dalaran use their magic to pursue the horde as they fall back to outland trough the dark portals.

5) Lots of things happen which i wont explain here. Anyway, the dark portals are sealed off and outland is in ruin. Lots of orcs lead by few warrior clans remain in Azeroth to live according to their fighting spirit. The war is lost for the horde but they are too proud to admit defeat.

6) Now its time for the Scourge! Lead by Ner'zul, and the most powerful necromancer of their time: Kel'Thuzad. They infiltrate the remaining human populance, poisining their food and turning them to undead.
As The human Council sits in the throne room arguing Arthas finds himself smart and capable enough to ignore his fathers orders (and those of the silver hand.) and attempt to save the human race from certain doom.

7) 2 of the most major Orc clans (led by Grom Hellscream and Thrall Doomhammer) flee to the distant lands of Kalimdor, Athras continues his campaign up north and becomes corrupted by the enchanted blade Frostmourne. He had been chosen By ner'zull to be his chaimpion in the following wars.
Jaina Proudmore flees with the only humans meant to survive the Scourge to Kalimdor.

8) Archimonde is summoned. The burning legion was given free pass to the lands of Azeroth .

9) Combined forces of scourge and the burning legion KILL EVERY LAST LIVING RACE ON AZEROTH!!!
They won!


Now... they said WoW takes place on 3. But if you ask me it also takes place on 6 and 8.... makes no sense, hence why i claim it has nothing to do with the original warcraft storyline.

P.S. some say WoW takes place AFTER defeat of archimonde at the world tree and that the combined forces of humans, orcs and night elves were again torn apart because of petty disputes. See the Contradictions below.



Contradictions:

- humans and night elves did not wage war with the Orcs. It was humans and blood elves combined, and later dwarves and mages joined. (see also there is no mention of gnomes... the used to be part of dwarven community before WoW)

- the tauren were on kalimdor the whole time. And the would never join the Scourge.

- Drenai never set foot on either Kalimdor nor Azeroth. They lived on the verge of extinction in outland.
The even joined forces with Illidan, the naga and the blood elves. The remain loyal to thier goal even after Ilidans defeat at Northrend. (its unfamiliar weather he survived, dont believe the wow story just yet)

-Blood elves hate the undead, and orcs.

-Quel'Thalas was rebuilt in WoW. Not only that but the WoW story implies as if it were never destroyed by Arthas in W3. Which brings us possibly in the time before the appearance of scourge and Archimonde. (hence why people say its placed in the 3. part of our timeline) This is self contradictory.
