Volsung

Ferdinand walked slowly to the Volsung and he starred it for long minutes. He felt something but he couldn't describe it. Finally he decided he sit in the ship and try it. The Giftnebel was quiet as usual. No any pilots were enough brave to enter, only Altenburg guarded but it was just an another piece of Dresden' space because the Army saw to it that the Chancellor doesn't have any influence here. The only reason why they are still here is the Daumann. As Ferdinand docked out from Vogtland he flied straight to Omega-11 jump hole, meanwhile Altenburg noticed him, but it only counted an another enemy of Rheinland.

Omega 11 is an another artery which feed Rheinland' heart. Fortunately only just the money-grubbing Daumanns are enough brave to come here. Military hasn't got any reason to come here. Only Bounty Hunters come here for money and Corsairs because of the war. Luckily Freital doesn't give them any chance to reach Vogtland or Omega-54. On his way Ferdinand didn't find any unusual. Solarus Station was quiet rather deserted, and when he arrived to Freital an another corsair force was destroyed by Freital' defence. Most of the pilots don't come here because the radioactive space. The radioactive space and the Red Giant sun made some danger on the ship too, so he had to dock, but the engineers had finished the ship before he arrived from the bar.

The place where he was heading it was Omega 5. Omega5 is the most famous place all over the Sirius. There aren't any people who had never heard of this famous battleground, but Ferdinand didn't come here to tell tales about the Hessians, he came here to get back the lost influence in Omegas and the best place was 5. He flied straight to the middle of the battleground, but it was empty. This was always full with corsairs but today it wasn't. He flied nearer and nearer to Cadiz. He thought the war crippled to the Corsairs and they gave up Omega-5 to Hessians. Finally his scanners showed a pilot who docked out from Cadiz but he didn't do anything, just flied to Omega 41 jump hole. Later an another docked out and flied to the hole. Ferdinand couldn't wait and he flied as near as he could fly to Cadiz and finally he reached the jump hole.

When he arrived to the another side he saw a Corsairs fleet which was flying towards him. Ferdinand couldn't do anything just waited and counted the Corsairs ....10 .... 20 ... 30 ... 40 ... 50! 50 corsairs flied to him and he didn't know why they came when one started to talk to him:

- This is Pedro Gomez the Capitain of this fleet we are here to destroy every Hessians ships in Omega-5. You can run back to tell your Capitains we are coming.

Ferdiand didn't know what should he do. Even if he flies back to Ronneburg he can't alert the pilots before the Corsairs arrive. Finally an idea came his mind:

- I can't fly back to Omega-5 because maybe there is an another fleet on the another side, so the only way is to escape from them if I fly to the Minefield where is the another Volsung sleeping and there maybe I can decimate them and Ronneburg will be ready to recieve them.

Ferdianand cruised but he couldn't, the force reached him. He started to fight but finally when he faced with a Titan his shield was taken over, so he forgot to fight with them until they won't be as dangerous. Finally he arrived to the minefield where 5 corairs immediately dead. Ferdinand noticed that these huge Titans can't dodge in the minefield, so he started to fight with them, but unfortunately the Volsung couldn't dodge in the fire and in the mines at once. Ferdinand had to retreat because one more mine hit could make an another wreck of Volsung. Some of them retreated but still minimum 20 followed him. Freital was ready to destroy the remaining Titans...
