This report has to do with recent AFA events, the rest of the things in this report are side details as far as what i am focusing on.
On January 21, 2009, I was setting up a new pilot with his Chime when i heard another KNF patrol report over public comms that a AFA had GC in his hold and was unwilling to give them up. The AFA stated "They will do my laundry and clean my ship." After much arguing between the patrol and the AFA it became obvious that [AFA]Taishi.Barak, the AFA in question, (And the only one known to have been committing these acts) was unwilling to give up his "friends" in the cargo and keep his sexual desires under control.
To make matters worse a Indie KNF was also with the separate patrol and objected furiously to women being used as objects. All of us but the AFA agreed but there became another problem, The indie (KNF-Soji.Yakatanabe) was obviously becoming very aggressive and in fear of having him start firing i was forced to order them to stand down with no questions asked as i saw no other option. They agreed immediately, but were Shoji was not happy. But of course i wasn't either.
I told Farmer Barak that i was not insisting on taking the GC but i did demand to know his motives. The response was "My motives are my business." Realizing i couldnt resolve at the present without force, i decided to have everyone ignore the fact for now and move on.
We moved back to NT (we were in Kyushu when all this happened) and i had to dock for a minute to attend to some other matters. When i returned to space i found that the Black Dragons had arrived and things had not been going well so i was relieved that there was some extra backup around. I located them at Planet New Tokyo and initiated private comms with them as i noticed the AFA leaving. I explained to them the situation and asked they're opinion on the matter. The main response i got was that there are many methods that can be used to "interrogate" suspects. My arguments were that the GC may be criminals, but they also deserve a trail and shouldn't be thought of as "objects".
The Black Dragons agreed on this, and shortly after over public coms from AFA it was reported of hostile activity in honshu. We made our way there and found a hostile that was quite unwilling to leave and ended up playing hide and seek with us for quite a while. We all finally found her and engaged her in battle when an ion storm hit and knocked out my ship for a few minutes. When power returned i found that the battle was over and that the AFA had tractor'd in the Hostile's escape pod and refused to give it up.
I find the actions of the AFA quite disturbing just as much as i find they're attitude unacceptable in this situation. Taishi.Barak showed minimal respect for even the fact that that the KNF have command over Kusari.
They're only response to us was that if we have a problem with what they are doing, then the High Command should tell them. We backed off as that was correct.
After these events the Black Dragons fully agreed with me and saw why i was worried about this situation.
