Our hero now had some more years in him. He was already 23. And, with the fact that he never forgot his parents' dire fate, and with a vicious anger and lust for revenge in his heart, he began his Eros fighter training as a nugget. The Colonial Fleet was still unaware of the many secrets and dangers of the Sirius Sector, and that lead to a surprising turn of events.
Although he was but a novice pilot, the fleet could not spare any fighting forces in their many battles. And so, despite this fact, he too fought in the battles.
In one particular battle fighting for Planetform, for whom the Colonials had been serving as a security force at the time, his ship got badly damaged and drifted into space...

Oxygen was slowly decreasing, and almost ran out. He panicked, banged on the sides of his cockpit, desperate to escape, but had no place to escape to. Finally, because of oxygen deprivation, he lost consciousness. Young Alexander was sitting still strapped and in his flight suit, but was not aware of the events around him.
After the fight, when casualties were being counted, he was nowhere to be found. The rest of the fleet presumed him to be dead, declared him M.I.A., and went on their way after the battle...
