But alas, salvation came. His beyond repair ship was found by an advanced train owned by a trader whose name he cannot recollect. He found him, unconscious, with life almost extinguished in him.
Because he had no other place to go, and knew nothing of the wherabouts of the rest of the colonials, who had allegedly gone somewhere else after the breach of the Planetform contract, which happened the very day of his accident in the battle, he served on that transport for 6 whole years. In that kind of time, his piloting skills became somewhat rusty.
But one day, in a bar on Kyushu, he again heard of his Colonial Brothers, who now called their faction the Colonial Remnant, and had stationed themselves somewhere in the taus, and their Colonial Reunion movement, as the recruitment group was called.
He immediately reported to those people and requested to be rejoined with The Colonial Fleet. Of course, the Fleet accepted him immediately, happy to learn that a pilot of theirs didn't after all die in the aforementioned battle.
And like that, Mr. Swift finally realized his dream of becoming a viper pilot, a full fledged one, and this time, unlike the one when they were traveling constantly, with proper training, equipment and above all else, a warm home at Minato Harbor..

However, this was just a beginning, and many adventures would follow..
