Another RP question

I really was avoiding posting about this, but I still don't think you see the point about the name dropping. You don't do it because its your personal perception of what happened. I saw most of this happen in NY last night while cruising around in my camera ship and saw your screenshots that were passed around. You are not being entirely clear with the whole story. Dragging someones name through the mud because you perceive yourself to be wronged is distasteful.

I really don't see, in your accusation, where any rules were broken.
1. I saw a pirate trying to pirate you, thats normal and part of the fun.
2. You flew to Detroit, where you stated that he warned you that you might get stuck. Detroit munitions does have a known bug. Its more likely that he was privately trying to warn you, as a new player, that that you might get stuck in there and not trying to lure you out. From looking at the screenshots that were shared with me, I'd say he was trying to help you and they are no proof of wrongdoing.
Similarly, to Heavy Metal Queen, thats not at all how that engagement occured, from my neutral perspcetive, and its just as bad as name dropping to say that in this thread. The pirates were not OORP or "poorly formed." They are pirates and are supposed to be mean and bad, these ones are extraordinarily effective. That doesn't mean that they are OORP though. I thought they were rather polite to all of the lawfuls by subtly hinting that you should leave the system after your deaths instead of demanding it or making it a big deal.
Joo joo, as a general rule of thumb, try give the other player the benefit of the doubt and try to discuss it politely instead of being accusatory. You don't need to jump to the forums everytime you get attacked and specifically accuse someone of rule breaking....especially when they didn't break any...:(

Screenshots were sent this morning to 1 player, did he send you some? because i only sent them to SGTMatt, not to you. . .unless your Matt, in that case why are you posting on this account?

while i was flying to Det. Munitions he was saying in system he was gonna be nice and let me dock. that i wasn't worth him killing etc etc etc(Which btw was some excellent RP) ONLY AFTER I docked did he tell me of the big ship bug. if he would had said, don't dock there with ur big ship, you'll get stuck, i would agree with you. But that Obviously wasn't the case.

As a general rule of thumb with FL a lot of these RP rules are "hard" to enforce. for that fact, i will come here to the forums everytime i see a disagreement(Especially when i feel i was in the right) You say that name dropping is Bad, very well. I'll only do it in extreme circumstances. would i do it again just like i did it before. You bet, you see another pilot was wondering if it was his pilot. And considering that the guy i name dropped didn't think it was cheating. I was making sure that if this was a "bad apple" it could be dealt with(not with bans and sanctions, but hopefully with pilots this guy respects who tells him, hey man that wasn't right) and i did pm him saying i believed what he tried to do was bad form, he did not agree, and when i said what he had done was tantamount to cheating, he said "hardly." Would you like me to send you the 3 screenshots i was talking about earilier?
