Broadcast Begins:

In a surprising announcement made today at the Council of the Dons offices & grand chambers, The well known & respected Cardamine cartel, the Blue Lotus Syndicate & Outcast national guard / militia, the Shadow Outcast Brigade, have put aside their past differences & combined their forces in efforts to assist in the defense of Malta & the spreading of the 'Orange Dream' through out Sirius.
After lengthy discussion the two respected Outcast factions have merged into one under the Shadow Outcast Brigade banner ( {SOB} ), all smuggling and freight ships will retain the [BLS] tag while all combat ships will fly the {SOB} tags upon them.

Colonel Picaroon "JollyRoger" Diablo, commander of the {SOB}, has also announced the former commanders of the Blue Lotus Syndicate will be given high command posts in the Brigade. The former cartel leader known only as 'Shadow' now carries a rank of Lt. Colonel & will be replacing the spot left vacant by former SOB third in command Alehandro "Grimtooth" Martine who recently retired & is now relaxing at his estate on Malta.
Also given a high command position was Vitale Demetri who was given the rank of Major and will work along side Major's Picarro "Unholy" Diablo & Socorro "Pinz" Yolanda in the running of SOB's combat ships.
Col. Diablo was quoted as saying, "This is a glorious day for the Brigade! We have made amends with our brethren & become one famillia to work along side of the beloved Military Factions of the 101st & Reapers of Sirius to fend off our enemies & continue the spread of the lifeblood of Malta through out all the systems." We welcome our new brothers & will fight along side them at all costs."


Col. Diablo also stated that even with the merger of {SOB} and [BLS], they are still looking for more pilots to assist in their goals. Prospective pilots can click this data link {SOB} / [BLS] Recruitment Center to apply. They are currently seeking fighter & freighter pilots.
