Well, I won in a 15 v 2 battle. Started off with myself and three recruits, they rushed two of them and raped them, while the other managed to kill one and only fell unconscious. The trick, when facing incredible odds, is to keep backing away and take them one at a time. That, or get a horse, a lance, and just charge at anything that breathes.

I see where it might get complicated, doing the same thing to a castle.
