I was scowering through Tau-23 for possible enemies, when I noticed a smuggler in the system. He wasn't hauling anything at the time, because he was returning from a trade, but he admitted to have been trafficking cardamine. However, I did not kill him because I had no tangible proof.
But the "party" was just beginning. A CCS Outcast appeared to try and force me out of the system, with him was one more Outcast pilot whose name I will not mention again, out of respect for his noble death.

I told the smuggler to leave, and I would destroy him and his cargo if he ever dares traffic cardi through the system.
The outcasts did not take too kindly to me preventing them from getting their dirty cardamine money.
They responded in a hostile manner, and they engaged me.

The first one, the leader, was taken down quickly, in a matter of 1 minute, he didn't even get a chance to run for his life after he learned he was about to die by my hand. He tried to mine me right in the end, but I shot his mine down before it could reach me, and ironically enough, it finished off the little hull he had left.

But the other one was a little harder to crack, his Light Fighter was hard to catch up with in the asteroid field of 23, but I attacked and attacked for 40 seconds, until he spent all his bots and batts. I then proceeded to disable his shield, after that a quarter of his hull, and in a joust sent one of my mines flying on him. He stood no chance.
Two targets were down.

I then proceeded to return to Minato Harbor, as there were no more hostiles there. As I was approaching the Tau-44 jumphole, =CR=Frayer and =CR=Gold-2 entered the system, and informed me they have spotted yet another outcast whose name I cannot recall. I do know he was flying a sabre though.
They engaged him, while I was catching up. When I caught up he still wasn't damaged, even a little. He was dodging like crazy, but still was not too hard a target for me, for us.
We all fired on him, but it was hard for us to get at his hull.. The minute we would hurt him a little, he used regens.
But in one run on him, I managed to disable his shield and slip a mine in front of him. He had no chance of avoiding it. BOOM!
3rd target down, and we returned to Minato for some R'n'R.

It seems I am beginning to make a name for myself out there. Soon they shall all tremble at the mention of my name, and before all of the Colonials as well.
