We have a new pilot on the front lines. Lt. Ivan Voronov has recently graduated from the SCRA military accademy. He shall be assigned to Strongpoint Gamma where he will be trained further by myself on the front line. Seeing as activity has picked up recently, we should have plenty of opportunities to give him combat experience.
Lay waste to our enemies, Ivan!!

Busy day today. First of all I was called in to assist Eugen Weise and Ivan Voronov with a FEAR opperative within Texas. Seems Voronov had taken damage before I got there and had to pull out. Receiving info beforehand that the FEAR was of gunboat class, I had brought my bomber for some fun. Target was easily dispatched.

Only trouble was his habit of trying to dodge without thinking about attacking. Dispicable tactic and deserved all the nova I could give him.
Proceeded to return to Strongpoint Gamma, with Ivan in tow. He needed weapons and other armaments. Spotted an SF gunboat in Unknown and proceeded to engage. He ran to Cambridge, suffereing damage in omega 5, at my hand, when some neighbooring Corsairs decided to halt his progress. Ivan did not give chase into Cambridge due to orders from me to get himself equiped first.
When in cambridge, the gunboat led me into an SF cruiser who seemed more willing to fight than to run. I switched targets and engaged. I took down his sheilds whilst taking some damage from the cruiser, a passing Battleship patrol, a BSO Talarca (???), a BSO bomber, and the Gunboat that had ran in the first place.
Knowing that I was fighting a loosing battle, and deeming that four ships and a battleship patrol was enough to constitute a battlegroup worth running from, I stuck my bomber into cruise and headed back towards Corsair space. I feel I had inflicted enough damage to make my point to all present.
Once I had my bomber repaired on Cadiz (which took about 2 hours! Those damn Novas are great but don't half put the mechanic's G-String in a twist) I returned to Strongpoint Gamma, where I was informed that an Outcast Destroyer (IDed as Pirate, tagged as KNF ) had opened fire and damaged Ivan whilst he was messing with his flight controls ((AFK)). He had also disobeyed a direct order from TBH to disengage, thus TBH declared him hostile. I was going to kill him regardless, but it helps to have someone fighting the same enemy, I suppose.
TBH and I engaged as he undocked, and with good use of CD's, kept him from running away. Both TBH and I cause horriffic damage to this poor soul's ship, which disintegrated as the TBH pilot gave the last blow.

Thinking that would be the end of it, I engaged in a social conversation with the TBH pilot outside of Strongpoint Gamma. Much to popular disbelief, I do occasionally partake in a little light conversation. Mainly when my foe has been defeated and tere are no other fools to take on. During this conversation over comms, said TBH pilot went down below into his hold to check his loot. Just as that happened, another Outcast Destroyer undocked from planet Crete and fired flak cannons at the still TBH ship. Due to insane reactions, the TBH pilot made it back to his cockpit and dodged the flak shells by 1 meter. We later found that this Destroyer was piloted by the same pilot we thought we had killed already! ((Read: Undocked and engaged when he was dead and opponent was AFK, but he did dodge them flaks))
We proceeded to engage and the Destroyer ran towards the Omega 41 hole. With TBH's CD's working perfectly, we slowed down his progress and battled on his ship. The kill was easy, however, the TBH's ship was caught in the ship's explosion and suffered major damage.

((This next part is in OOC as I have NO IDEA how to explain this IC. SirRed was told to get out of Gamma if he did not want to be attacked. He was given neutrality to get to a jumphole and leave. He agreed whilst docked and asked if we would attack him if he undocked. The reply from TBH was "if you leave we will not attack". On undocking, SirRed says, " I can't leave, I just took a mission". TBH declared it blatent disregard for the deal that was made, since he had no intention of leaving. I told him I would kill him if I caught him. We caught him, but it was in the Asteroids near the Omega 41 hole. He then used his flak cannons to blow off my guns and kill the TBH. The TBH then called in back-up from the Bs|, since they are allied. SirRed, in the meantime, docked on Tripoli. Bs| came and waited outside of Tripoli to protect the TBH for further attack.))
After the above happened, a Helghast was spotted inside Strongpoint Gamma. I proceeded to search for the Helghast, along with the SCRA Gunboat, Victory, which had just come on duty. We found the Helghast in a bomber outside of Crete. He ran towards the Maldava Nebula with me and Victory in persuit.
We saw a friendly Corsair Osiris on scanners and were shocked when we saw the Helghast fly towards and around the battleship. He must have mistaken him for an ally or something... Anyway, the bomber flew around him, occasionally attacking Victory. The BS was taking no part in the hostilities, until he had had enough of the pesky bomber and opened fire. Whilst dodging the BS's fire, he engine killed for just too long and met my novas head on.

I love the sight of hull decompression in the mornings...
Whilst returning to Crete from a victorious battle, Victory docked for repairs and a battle with his own paperwork. Keeping watch on Strongpoint Gamma, I remained undocked. I was then confronted and engaged by a rogue Corsair pilot flying a Raven Talon. I engaged in self defence and blew him to pieces in the shortest battle I have yet to report.

The corsairs have yet to respond to my request for a full apology for the incident.
As I said, very busy day! However, I still find that my bloodlust has not been satisfied...
