The Order - Future Direction

I have sold my Osiris, so you'll have one less indie capship pilot to worry about. I sold it a couple weeks ago, basically out of boredom.

My BH has turned his gaze to other hunting grounds and is no longer a part of the Order - BH conflict.

The Order currently has no real mission other than entertain the occassional Corsair visitor and fight the BH.

Keepers seem to prefer fighter-to-fighter combat over capship encounters, so their presence is often lacking. Not a rant, just an observation.

The road Tenacity and some others are eager to take is the road of exclusivism. In that regard, be careful for what you wish for. You know the rest.

I think Dash is right on the money. Order rp will become mind-numbingly boring and frustrating if it follows the previously suggested route.

Even as a player that prefers caps, I always wondered why the Omega/Omicron factions have them. If it were up to me, the Order would have a 1 Osiris, 3 Resephs, the Keepers would have 1 BS and the BH, Corsairs and Outcasts would have nothing larger than gunboats. But, as Agmen pointed out, Pandora's Box has already been open.

In my opinion, the BH should just pull out of the whole Nomad tech acquisition quest. It's run its course. Let the Order handle the Nomads.

Dipolmacy is another matter - what's conceivable, what's workable vis-a-vis balance? Relations with Corsairs would be taut, due to the artifacts trade. But this doesn't necessarily mean open hostilities are warranted. The Order could have contacts in every faction, but maintain official ties with a few, established factions.
