For some strange reason, I highly doubt that, so I'm going to assume that it was sarcastic overstatement.:P
But on a more serious note, I do understand what Baconsoda is saying. Essentially, people seem to be forgetting the fact that RP precedes and guides PvP. This is not a PvP server, and frankly, it's not a environment for good PvP.
At the end of the day, it really just comes down to the fact that we here at Discovery are a community. We are an entity, and it is probably the sole reason why its survived through so many trials and tribulations. We cannot forget the fact that we are clan - a family of gamers - here for the experience of the Sirius sector, not so that we can just get a fancy Kill Message from the Console. There are others who don't realize this, and personally, the best thing to do is simply to turn the other cheek and to ignore them.
Whether its poking fun at Dab's ego, or getting owned by him later after calling his bluff, we do it in good faith, not in antagonistic harm. Remember this, live this, and Disco will continue to thrive.
