I find those overt-pvp "I must win" layouts a little Cheesy.....

It is, from one point of view - perfectly in RP for a character to give themselves the BIGGEST guns to win, but as to the point of this thread , its not entirely respectful, nor fun for the person on the receiving end of it.
Honestly though i never notice someone's lay out usually, pvp is so secondary for me and the result also so predictable (i die) that i start Rp'ing like mad as soon as it looks like one will eventuate.

There is no reason though that each stoush has to end in a Kill message... i once fled across three systems from a pvp match, with them shooting and trying to CD me the whole way... That's also Cheesy. Personally i think if someone is trying to flee, or they look like they have had enough, let them go - unless you;re collecting a bounty on that person there is no reason to take it that far.

OOC is a pet hate of mine, hate it, hate it, hate it - and Ive noticed a lot of it lately as well and it usually is tied in with my other pet hate which is Rules Lawyering. There is no reason for this - but i honestly think a lot of people who do it are not that active on the forums and thus might not know how frowned upon it is - a friendly Pm always helps.
