Sorry, but you said it yourself: This server is an evolving thing. I know for a fact that you played devil's advocate more than once in the "OoRP ships" thread. Thankfully, the special RP forum still squeaked through the fire and flames and has stood to work well enough.
The fact is, imagination is RP. RP is imagination. We have a pretty cool and interesting universe, sure, but why does it have to end there? Why do we have to abide by some invisible mold as to what we should be? Why should we have to worry about each and every person understanding our RP? How many times hve players gone "What the heck! I just got killed by some maniac in an OC dessie. He wasn't an OC, what the hell was he?"? Mon'Star was here first, so he fits the mold of acceptable confusion? First come first serve?
I don't think so.
Some people are happy with what Vanilla gives. That's fine, but those who aren't have just as much say and rights as anyone else. Granted, if someone asks you to explain yourself through PM ingame, you should at least give them an overview, instead of doing this "read teh forumz" thing.
